HIGH CHIEF CHUKWUDI UNVEILS CAMPAIGN MANIFESTO: SAYS HIS CANDIDATURE EMBODIES THE WIDER UNITY, HOPE AND ASPIRATION OF THE PEOPLE OF OBINGWA LOCAL GOVERNMENT



One of the Obingwa local Government Chairmanship frontline High Chief Chukwudi Victor Omenihu Ubali has unveiled his Actionable Smart-Point Campaign Manifesto tagged "OBINGWA PEOPLE-FIRST AGENDA".



Speaking at large Labour Party campaign declaration and Official Unveiling of his Campaign Manifesto held at his residence Itukpa Autonomous Community in Obingwa LGA said his People-First Agenda derives its strength from the wishes, aspiration and manifest will of the people of Obingwa local Government in their quest for a smart, unified approach and great development in our local communities.




According to him, his candidature on the platform of the Labour Party embodies the wider Unity, hope and aspiration of the people of Obingwa adding that it is a collective pursuit by the people for quality, Unified approach and great service in representation irrespective of age, sectional, Class and discrimination sentiments. 



He enumerated his Five-Smart Point People-First Agenda to include:


1. Democracy, Unity, Quality Representation, Justice and Fairness


2. Prosperity and Citizenship Empowerment as Dividends of Democracy

3. Bridge Infrastructure Deficit Across Obingwa LGA 

4. Security for Prosperity

5. Transparency, Accountability, Accessibility.

The Labour Party Chairmanship frontline candidate further assured that if elected, he will also ensure the following:


* Yearly empowerment of not less than expected youths of our local Government especially the women, aged in various personal vocations, trades, and businesses


* Facilitate the  construction of modern, well-equipped vocational and Skill Acquisition Centres in the Local Government Areas.


* Facilitate phased rehabilitation or construction and equipping of cottage hospitals and community health centres across the local Communities.


* Provide scholarship and bursaries periodically for Obingwa pupils and students in various levels of education. 


* Facilitate Periodic rehabilitation and upgrade of many feeder roads in various communities in the local Government.


* Facilitate rapid electrification including provision/facilitation of transformers and solar power for communities in the local Government, among many others explaining that we are committed to making Obingwa the leading Local Government in Abia State in terms of quality leadership that reflects in community infrastructural development, economic empowerment and shared prosperity of local Society, peaceful coexistence and happiness for all.

His Eminence, Eze Dr M O Enweremadu, Eze Ukwu ll of Ngwa Ukwu, Ukwu the 14th and Traditional Head of Ngwaland has congratulated the Executive Governor of ABIA State Dr Alex Chioma Otti Ofr, on his 59th birthday, describing him as a visionary and vibrant Servant who has maintained the attributes of his Chieftaincy Conferment by late Eze Ukwu l.  

 He said Gov Alex Otti, who clocks 59 on Sunday, February 18, is an epitome of dedication and a child of his title “Eboo Ogu Nke Mbu “ in which, I wish to reiterate through the bestowment as a means to encourage him to uphold those path of legacies which he has started that will live the test of time.
