STRATEGIZING FOR A GREATER HOPE THROUGH UNIFICATION, COOPERATION IN REAFFIRMING OUR COMMITMENT TO PDP IN OSISIOMA - STAKEHOLDERS

Today, In furtherance efforts and in the spirit of involvement and commitment, the stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Osisioma Ngwa local Government met at the residence of the stakeholders Chairman Elder Sam Njoku where they reiterated their efforts to renegotiate the minds of our party members towards a firm hope ahead.

Unveiling those remarks, The PDP State deputy Chairman Hon Obinna NWACHUKWU, local Government party Chairman Chief Sir Ihezuo Ufomba amongst other stakeholders like Hon Young Onyike, Elder Ogechi Chile stressed the importance for our people to remain strong, steadfast and confidence in the faces of challenges and circumstances.

We have shown strength and value as a people and that alone has distinguished us of what we are and we’re not going back in our collective quest for a more sustainable and advanced approach to a better society, they equally commended and promised them a resounding victory at last.

In separate words and reassurances, issues raised was addressed prior to furtherance plans to reunite, strategize and re-enforce means of party’s growth. Amongst leaders who supported includes Prince Justice Ujoumunna, Chief Bright Nwadima, Chief Acho Nkoro and others.

Indeed, It’s not to be compromised of every respect, she has earned this honor. Her academic credentials, her judicial experience and her legal acumen prove that she is eminently qualified for this position, Eze Ukwu expressed proudness over such a National honor brought to our land and responsibility at the topmost Court in Nigeria. In the same vein, I also congratulate Justice Uwa who has made us proud and landmark history as the very first woman from Ukwa Ngwa to sit on the Bench of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The Federal Government has announced the indefinite suspension of the N-Power program. Betta Edu, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, made the announcement while featuring on a TVC news program on Saturday. She said the decision was birthed by some irregularities within the scheme, noting that the government has launched investigation into the utilization of funds since the program began. The Minister claimed that some of the beneficiaries are not found in their place of assignments yet they expect monthly stipends. According to her, some of the beneficiaries ought to have exited the program since 2022 but are still on the payroll. She said, “We must go back to look into N-Power and understand what the problems are so we will basically suspend the programe for now until we are done with proper investigation into the utilization of fund into the N-Power program.
